Isaiah 1:9

As Isaiah foretold, "If the Lord of Hosts had not left us children, We would have been like Sodom, and have resembled Gomorrah!"

But the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few that find it.

And Isaiah cries out about Israel, "Although the sons of Israel are as numerous as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved,

But what is God's reply? "I have left myself seven thousand men who have never knelt to Baal!"

and if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and overwhelmed them with ashes, as a warning to ungodly men of what was to come,
