James 1:3

Trials, Testing, And Faith

² Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, ³ knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. ⁴ And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Romans 5:3-4

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,

For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
