Jeremiah 11:9

But when the tenants saw the son, they said among themselves, 'This is his heir, come on, let us kill him, and get all that is coming to him!'

Then the high priests and the elders of the people met in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,

and said, "What will you give me to turn Him over to you?" Then they paid him thirty pieces of silver.

So from that day they plotted to kill Jesus.

After day had dawned, the Jews formed a conspiracy and took an oath not to eat or drink till they had killed Paul.
