Lying Prophets

¹⁰ Thus said Jehovah concerning this people: Well they have loved to wander, Their feet they have not restrained, And Jehovah hath not accepted them, Now doth He remember their iniquity, And inspect their sin. ¹¹ And Jehovah saith unto me: Thou dost not pray for this people for good, ¹² When they fast, I hearken not unto their cry, And when they cause to ascend burnt-offering and present, I accept them not, For by sword, and by famine, And by pestilence, I am consuming them.

And thou dost not pray for this people, Nor lift up for them crying and prayer, Nor intercede with Me, for I hear thee not.

Jeremiah 11:14

And thou, thou dost not pray for this people, Nor dost thou lift up for them cry and prayer, For I do not hearken in the time of their calling unto Me for their vexation.

Exodus 32:10

and now, let Me alone, and My anger doth burn against them, and I consume them, and I make thee become a great nation.'
