Jeremiah 48:12

A Message Concerning Moab

¹¹ Moab has been at ease from his youth, and he has settled on his lees and has not been emptied from vessel to vessel, nor has he gone into exile. Therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed. ¹² Therefore behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will send pourers to him, who shall pour him off, and his vessels shall empty, and shatter their jars. ¹³ And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their hope.
