Job 13:2

Job's Fourth Speech Continues

¹ Lo, my eye has seen all this, my ear has heard and understood it. ² What you know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you. ³ Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knows not such things as these?

Have you heard the council of God? and do you limit wisdom to yourself?

Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

Therefore does Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplies words without knowledge.

Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goes out of his mouth.

And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends: for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
