A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
“But now I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, ‘ Where are You going?’
Therefore Jesus said,
“ For a little while longer I am with you, then I go to Him who sent Me.
So Jesus said to them,
“ For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.
Little children, I am with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, now I also say to you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’
After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
A little while
So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for
fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and *said to them, “ Peace be with you.”
After these things Jesus
manifested Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and He manifested Himself in this way.
these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.
God raised Him up on the third day and granted that He become visible,
1 Corinthians 15:5
He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father.”
knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God,
Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
So then, when the Lord Jesus had
spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
