Joshua 8:16

Ai Is Destroyed

¹⁵ Then Joshua and all Israel made as if they were beaten before them and fled by the way of the wilderness. ¹⁶ And all the people who were in the city were called together to pursue them, and they pursued Joshua and were drawn away from the city. ¹⁷ And there was not a man left in Ai or Bethel that did not go out after Israel; and because they pursued after Israel, they left the city open.

Judges 20:31

And the sons of Benjamin went out against the people and were drawn away from the city, and they began to smite of the people and kill as at the other times in the highways, one of which goes up to the house of God and the other to Gibeah by the field, and they killed about thirty men of Israel.

And I and all the people that are with me, will approach the city; and when they come out against us, as at the first, we will flee before them
