Leviticus 20:8

Exhortation To Holiness And Obedience

⁷ Keep (consecrate) yourselves holy, because I am Jehovah your God! ⁸ You shall keep My statutes and practice them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you. ⁹ Jehovah gave the following regulations. Any of you that curse your father or mother shall be put to death. You are responsible for your own death.

Exodus 31:13

Speak to the people of Israel. Say: 'You must observe my Sabbaths. This is a sign between you and me throughout your generations that you may know that I am Jehovah, the one who sanctifies you.
