Rejected At Nazareth

¹⁷ And there was delivered to Him the book of the prophet Esaias; and opening the book, He found the place where it was written, ¹⁸  "The spirit of the Lord is upon me to the end, for which He hath anointed me: He hath sent me to publish good tidings to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to release them that are bruised, ¹⁹ and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
