Jesus Predicts His Death And Resurrection A Third Time

³³ "Listen!" he said. "We are going up to Jerusalem; and there the Son of Man will be betrayed to the Chief Priests and the Teachers of the Law, and they will condemn him to death, and they will give him up to the Gentiles, ³⁴  Who will mock him, spit upon him, and scourge him, and put him to death; and after three days he will rise again." ³⁵ James and John, the two sons of Zebediah, went to Jesus, and said: "Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask."
