A Blind Man Healed At Jericho

⁴⁶ And they come to Jericho: and, as He was going forth from Jericho, with His disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road. ⁴⁷ And, hearing that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, "Son of David! Jesus! have mercy on me!" ⁴⁸ And many were rebuking him, that he should be silent. But he kept crying much more, "Son of David! have mercy on me!"
