Jesus Predicts Peter's Denial

²⁷ And Jesus said to them, "You will all desert me, for the Scriptures say, 'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.' ²⁸  But after I am raised to life again I will go back to Galilee before you." ²⁹ But Peter said to him, "Even if they all desert you, I will not!"
