And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.
And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, “ I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”
When Jesus went
ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.
In those days, when there was again a large crowd and they had nothing to eat,
Jesus called His disciples and *said to them,
It has often thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us!”
the Lord saw her, He felt compassion for her, and said to her, “ Do not weep.”
When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and
wept over it,
When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and
the Jews who came with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and was troubled,
had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
For we do not have
a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
he can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is beset with weakness;
A large crowd followed Him, because they saw the
signs which He was performing on those who were sick.
