Wise Men Visit Jesus

⁹ The Astrologers heard what the King had to say, and then continued their journey. And the star which they had seen in the east led them on, until it reached, and stood over, the place where the child was. ¹⁰ At the sight of the star they were filled with joy. ¹¹ Entering the house, they saw the child with his mother, Mary, and fell at his feet and did homage to him. Then they unpacked their treasures, and offered to the child presents of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Filled with Joy

Luke 2:10

"Have no fear," the angel said. "For I bring you good news of a great joy in store for all the nation.

Luke 2:20

And the shepherds went back, giving glory and praise to God for all that they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.

Romans 15:9-13

And that the Gentiles also may praise God for his mercy. As Scripture says--'Therefore will I make acknowledgment to thee among the Gentiles and sing in honor of thy Name.'

Acts 13:46-48

Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out fearlessly, and said: "It was necessary that the Message of God should be told to you first; but, since you reject it and reckon yourselves not worthy of the Immortal Life--we turn to the Gentiles!
