The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
“As for me,
I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
And He answered and said,
“It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
I am unworthy of all the lovingkindness and of all the faithfulness which You have shown to Your servant; for with my staff only I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two companies.
O Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble;
strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear
But when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus’
feet, saying, “Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinful man!”
Now Jesus started on His way with them; and when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, “
Lord, do not trouble Yourself further, for I am not worthy for You to come under my roof;
I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men.”’
He who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.”
So He *came to Simon Peter. He *said to Him, “Lord, do You wash my feet?”
Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying,
“I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

For He spoke, and it was done;

He sent His word and healed them,
delivered them from their destructions.
And Jesus rebuked him, saying,
“Be quiet, and come out of him!”
for this reason I did not even consider myself worthy to come to You, but just
say the word, and my servant will be healed.
Then the Lord commanded the
fish, and it vomited Jonah up onto the dry land.
