And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through Your name.

Behold, I give to you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the authority of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.

And when He had called to Him His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

And heal the sick that are in it, and say to them, The kingdom of God has come near you!

And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. You have received freely, freely give.

And after these things the Lord appointed seventy others, And He sent them two and two before His face into every city and place where He was about to come.

And miraculous signs will follow to those believing these things: in My name they will cast out demons; they will speak new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will be well.

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those hearing the Word. And those of the circumcision, who believed (as many as came with Peter), were astonished because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out on the nations also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered,

And as Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
