He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David: and He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His Kingdom there shall be no end.

And behold, two blind men sitting by the wayside, hearing that Jesus is passing by, cried out, saying; Have mercy on us, O son of David. And the multitude rebuked them, that they should keep silent. And they cried out the more, saying; Have mercy on us, O Lord, son of David.

saying, What seems to you concerning the Christ? whose son is He? They say to Him, Of David.

And hearing that it is Jesus the Nazarene, began to cry out, and say, Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me. And many continued to rebuke him that he should keep silent: but he continued to cry out much more, O son of David, have mercy on me.

And they told him that Jesus the Nazarene is going along.

and having deposed him, he raised up to them David for a king; to whom witnessing he also said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man according to my own heart, who will do all my wishes.
