And Reaiah the son of Shobal fathered Jahath, and Jahath fathered Ahumai and Lahad. These [were] the clans of the Zorathites.
And the sons of Shimei: Jahath, Zina, Jeush, and Beriah; these four [were] the sons of Shimei. And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second, but Jeush and Beriah did not have many sons. They were enrolled as one for the house of a father.
And the men did the work faithfully. Over them as supervisors [were] appointed Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites from the Merarites, and Zechariah and Meshullam from the Kohathites. And [other] Levites, all who were skilled in instruments of song,
