So he went and washed them and went home seeing. Now his neighbors and those who saw that he was formerly blind, kept saying, "Is not this the man who used to sit and beg?" Some said, "Yes, it is he." Others said, "No, but it surely does look like him." He himself said, "I am the man." So they kept on asking him, "How in the world did you come to see?" He answered, "The man called Jesus made some clay and rubbed it on my eyes, and said to me, 'Go to Siloam and wash them.' So when I had gone and washed them I could see."
