therefore so says the Lord Jehovah: I will also stretch out My hand on Edom, and will cut man and beast off from it; and I will make it a waste from Teman, even to Dedan they shall fall by the sword.

So says Jehovah of Hosts to Edom: Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished?


But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

God comes from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covers the heavens, and His praise fills the earth.

And your mighty ones, O Teman, shall be afraid, so that each man from the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.
