1 And all the people will gather together as one man to the broad place that was before the gate of the waters; and they will say to Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which Jehovah commanded Israel. 2 And Ezra the priest will bring the law before the convocation, from man and even to woman, and all understanding to hear in one day to the seventh month. 3 And he will read in it before the broad place which is before the gate of the waters, from the light even to the half of the day, before the men and the women, and those understanding; and the ears of all the people will be to the book of the law.
