Gad And Reuben Inherit Gilead

²¹ and every armed man of you will pass over the Jordan before the LORD, until he has driven out his enemies from before him, ²² and the land is subdued before the LORD; then afterward you shall return, and be guiltless towards the LORD, and towards Israel; and this land shall be to you for a possession before the LORD. ²³ "But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD; and be sure your sin will find you out.

Joshua 22:9

The children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession, which they owned, according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.

Deuteronomy 3:20

until the LORD gives rest to your brothers, as to you, and they also possess the land which the LORD your God gives them beyond the Jordan: then you shall return every man to his possession, which I have given you."

Joshua 22:4
