8 Finally, brothers, keep in mind whatever is true, whatever is worthy, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is attractive, whatever is high-toned, all excellence, all merit. 9 Practise also what you have learned and received from me, what you heard me say and what you saw me do; then the God of peace will be with you. 10 It was a great joy to me in the Lord that your care for me could revive again; for what you lacked was never the care but the chance of showing it.
