Psalm 31:16

For He saith to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomsoever I have mercy; and I will have compassion on whomsoever I have compassion."

and that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, even us,

to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved;

but God, being rich in mercy, on account of His great love wherewith He loved us,
