Psalm 31:24

Simon, Simon, lo! Satan hath asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.

And again Isaiah saith: "There shall be the shoot from Jesse, and he that riseth up to rule the gentiles; in him shall the gentiles hope."

endued with all power according to the might of his glory unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

Take, brethren, the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, for an example of affliction, and of patience.

who through him have faith in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
