Psalm 89:4

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of David his father;

And he said to them, How is it that men say that the Christ is Davids son?

And we declare to you the glad tidings, that the promise which was made to the fathers

the gospel concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David as to the flesh,

And again Isaiah saith: "There shall be the shoot from Jesse, and he that riseth up to rule the gentiles; in him shall the gentiles hope."

Wherefore God also highly exalted him, and gave him a name which is above every name;

I Jesus sent my angel to testify these things to you for the churches. I am the shoot and the offspring of David, the bright morningstar.
