יְהוָ֑ה

אָבִ֗יו

’ā·ḇîw,

and

､ הַכֶּ֤סֶף

the silver ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ הַזָּהָב֙

haz·zā·hāḇ

the gold ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

כָּל־

kāl-

､ הַכֵּלִ֔ים

hak·kê·lîm,

the furnishings ､

נָתַ֕ן

nā·ṯan

and he put [them]

בְּאֹצְר֖וֹת

bə·’ō·ṣə·rō·wṯ

in the treasuries

בֵּ֥ית

bêṯ

of the house

. הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm.

of God .

that they might bring up

of the covenant

Therefore assembled

. הַשְּׁבִעִֽי׃

haš·šə·ḇi·‘î.

– וַיָּבֹ֕אוּ

So came –

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

yiś·rā·’êl;

וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ

and took up

הַלְוִיִּ֖ם

hal·wî·yim

אֶת־

the ark .

וַיַּעֲל֤וּ

way·ya·‘ă·lū

And they brought up

וְאֶת־

and

אֹ֣הֶל

’ō·hel

､ מוֹעֵ֔ד

of meeting ､

וְאֶת־

and

כָּל־

כְּלֵ֥י

kə·lê

הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ

haq·qō·ḏeš

the holy

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

､ בָּאֹ֑הֶל

bā·’ō·hel;

in the tabernacle ､

. הֶעֱל֣וּ

he·‘ĕ·lū

אֹתָ֔ם

’ō·ṯām,

הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים

hak·kō·hă·nîm

. הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

hal·wî·yim.

and the Levites .

וְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ

wə·ham·me·leḵ

And King

､ שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה

šə·lō·mōh,

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

עֲדַ֧ת

‘ă·ḏaṯ

the congregation

יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל

yiś·rā·’êl

הַנּוֹעָדִ֥ים

han·nō·w·‘ā·ḏîm

who were assembled

עָלָ֖יו

‘ā·lāw

with him

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

､ הָאָר֑וֹן

hā·’ā·rō·wn;

the ark ､

מְזַבְּחִים֙

mə·zab·bə·ḥîm

were sacrificing

צֹ֣אן

ṣōn

､ וּבָקָ֔ר

ū·ḇā·qār,

and oxen ､

אֲשֶׁ֧ר

’ă·šer

לֹֽא־

lō-

not

יִסָּפְר֛וּ

yis·sā·p̄ə·rū

could be counted

וְלֹ֥א

wə·lō

or

יִמָּנ֖וּ

yim·mā·nū

. מֵרֹֽב׃

for multitude .

וַיָּבִ֣יאוּ

And brought in

וַיִּהְי֤וּ

כְּנָפַ֔יִם

עַל־

‘al-

מְק֖וֹם

､ הָאָר֑וֹן

of the ark ､

וַיְכַסּ֧וּ

and overshadowed

הַכְּרוּבִ֛ים

hak·kə·rū·ḇîm

עַל־

‘al-

הָאָר֥וֹן

the ark

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and

בַּדָּ֖יו

bad·dāw

. מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃

mil·mā·‘ə·lāh.

thereof above .

הַבַּדִּים֒

וַיֵּרָאוּ֩

so that could be seen

And it came to pass ､

בְּצֵ֥את

הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים

הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ

haq·qō·ḏeš;

the [Most] Holy [Place]

כִּ֠י

כָּל־

הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים

הַֽנִּמְצְאִים֙

han·nim·ṣə·’îm

who [were] present

､ הִתְקַדָּ֔שׁוּ

hiṯ·qad·dā·šū,

had sanctified themselves ､

אֵ֖ין

’ên

לִשְׁמ֥וֹר

liš·mō·wr

､ לְמַחְלְקֽוֹת׃

lə·maḥ·lə·qō·wṯ.

to their divisions ､

וְהַלְוִיִּ֣ם

wə·hal·wî·yim

and the Levites [who were]

､ הַמְשֹׁרֲרִ֣ים

ham·šō·ră·rîm

the singers ､

לְכֻלָּ֡ם

lə·ḵul·lām

､ לְאָסָ֡ף

lə·’ā·sāp̄

of Asaph ､

､ לְהֵימָ֣ן

lə·hê·mān

and Heman ､

､ לִֽ֠ידֻתוּן

lî·ḏu·ṯūn

and Jeduthun ､

וְלִבְנֵיהֶ֨ם

wə·liḇ·nê·hem

and with their sons

､ וְלַאֲחֵיהֶ֜ם

wə·la·’ă·ḥê·hem

and their brothers ､

מְלֻבָּשִׁ֣ים

mə·lub·bā·šîm

､ בּ֗וּץ

būṣ,

in white linen ､

בִּמְצִלְתַּ֙יִם֙

bim·ṣil·ta·yim

וּבִנְבָלִ֣ים

ū·ḇin·ḇā·lîm

and stringed instruments

､ וְכִנֹּר֔וֹת

wə·ḵin·nō·rō·wṯ,

and harps ､

עֹמְדִ֖ים

‘ō·mə·ḏîm

מִזְרָ֣ח

miz·rāḥ

at the east [end]

､ לַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ

lam·miz·bê·aḥ;

of the altar ､

וְעִמָּהֶ֤ם

wə·‘im·mā·hem

and with them

כֹּֽהֲנִים֙

kō·hă·nîm

לְמֵאָ֣ה

lə·mê·’āh

וְעֶשְׂרִ֔ים

wə·‘eś·rîm,

[מחצררים]

maḥ·ṣə·ri·rîm

-

(מַחְצְרִ֖ים)

maḥ·ṣə·rîm

. בַּחֲצֹֽצְרֽוֹת׃

ba·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ.

with trumpets .

､ וַיְהִ֣י

way·hî

And indeed it came to pass ､

､ כְ֠אֶחָד

ḵə·’e·ḥāḏ

when as one ､

[למחצצרים]

lam·ma·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rîm

-

(לַמְחַצְּרִ֨ים)

lam·ḥaṣ·ṣə·rîm

וְלַמְשֹֽׁרֲרִ֜ים

wə·lam·šō·ră·rîm

and singers [were]

לְהַשְׁמִ֣יעַ

lə·haš·mî·a‘

to make to be heard

קוֹל־

qō·wl-

אֶחָ֗ד

’e·ḥāḏ,

לְהַלֵּ֣ל

lə·hal·lêl

וּלְהֹדוֹת֮

ū·lə·hō·ḏō·wṯ

– לַיהוָה֒

Yah·weh

וּכְהָרִ֣ים

ū·ḵə·hā·rîm

and when they lifted up

ק֠וֹל

qō·wl

בַּחֲצֹצְר֨וֹת

ba·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ

with the trumpets

וּבִמְצִלְתַּ֜יִם

ū·ḇim·ṣil·ta·yim

וּבִכְלֵ֣י

ū·ḇiḵ·lê

and instruments

､ הַשִּׁ֗יר

haš·šîr,

of music ､

וּבְהַלֵּ֤ל

ū·ḇə·hal·lêl

､ לַיהוָה֙

Yah·weh

כִּ֣י

kî

– ט֔וֹב

ṭō·wḇ,

[He is] good –

כִּ֥י

kî

､ לְעוֹלָ֖ם

lə·‘ō·w·lām

ever ､

חַסְדּ֑וֹ

ḥas·dōw;

His mercy [endures]

וְהַבַּ֛יִת

wə·hab·ba·yiṯ

מָלֵ֥א

mā·lê

､ עָנָ֖ן

‘ā·nān

with a cloud ､

בֵּ֥ית

bêṯ

– יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

of Yahweh –

וְלֹא־

wə·lō-

so that not

יָֽכְל֧וּ

yā·ḵə·lū

הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים

hak·kō·hă·nîm

לַעֲמ֥וֹד

la·‘ă·mō·wḏ

לְשָׁרֵ֖ת
