And You shall make

מִזְבֵּ֖חַ

מִקְטַ֣ר

miq·ṭar

. קְטֹ֑רֶת

qə·ṭō·reṯ;

עֲצֵ֥י

‘ă·ṣê

שִׁטִּ֖ים

šiṭ·ṭîm

תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה

ta·‘ă·śeh

. אֹתֽוֹ׃

’ō·ṯōw.

it .

אַמָּ֨ה

’am·māh

אָרְכּ֜וֹ

’ā·rə·kōw

[shall be] its length

וְאַמָּ֤ה

wə·’am·māh

and a cubit

. רָחְבּוֹ֙

rā·ḥə·bōw

רָב֣וּעַ

rā·ḇū·a‘

､ יִהְיֶ֔ה

yih·yeh,

it shall be ､

וְאַמָּתַ֖יִם

wə·’am·mā·ṯa·yim

､ קֹמָת֑וֹ

qō·mā·ṯōw;

[shall be] its height ､

מִמֶּ֖נּוּ

mim·men·nū

. קַרְנֹתָֽיו׃

qar·nō·ṯāw.

[shall be] of one piece with it .

וְצִפִּיתָ֨

wə·ṣip·pî·ṯā

And you shall overlay

אֹת֜וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

-

זָהָ֣ב

zā·hāḇ

with gold

טָה֗וֹר

ṭā·hō·wr,

､ אֶת־

’eṯ-

- ､

גַּגּ֧וֹ

gag·gōw

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

קִירֹתָ֛יו

qî·rō·ṯāw

､ סָבִ֖יב

sā·ḇîḇ

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

קַרְנֹתָ֑יו

qar·nō·ṯāw;

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

and you shall make

And two

. לּ֣וֹ ׀

לְזֵר֗וֹ

צַלְעֹתָ֔יו

תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה

You shall place [them]

עַל־

‘al-

on

שְׁנֵ֣י

šə·nê

､ צִדָּ֑יו

ṣid·dāw;

וְהָיָה֙

wə·hā·yāh

and they will be

לְבָתִּ֣ים

lə·ḇāt·tîm

לְבַדִּ֔ים

lə·ḇad·dîm,

לָשֵׂ֥את

lā·śêṯ

אֹת֖וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

it

. בָּהֵֽמָּה׃

bā·hêm·māh.

with those .

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ

And You shall make

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַבַּדִּ֖ים

hab·bad·dîm

עֲצֵ֣י

‘ă·ṣê

､ שִׁטִּ֑ים

šiṭ·ṭîm;

of acacia ､

וְצִפִּיתָ֥

wə·ṣip·pî·ṯā

אֹתָ֖ם

’ō·ṯām

. זָהָֽב׃

zā·hāḇ.

with gold .

וְנָתַתָּ֤ה

wə·nā·ṯat·tāh

And you shall put

אֹתוֹ֙

’ō·ṯōw

it

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

הַפָּרֹ֔כֶת

hap·pā·rō·ḵeṯ,

the veil

אֲשֶׁ֖ר

’ă·šer

that [is]

עַל־

‘al-

אֲרֹ֣ן

’ă·rōn

the ark

､ הָעֵדֻ֑ת

hā·‘ê·ḏuṯ;

of the Testimony ､

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

הַכַּפֹּ֗רֶת

hak·kap·pō·reṯ,

אֲשֶׁר֙

’ă·šer

that [is]

עַל־

‘al-

､ הָ֣עֵדֻ֔ת

hā·‘ê·ḏuṯ,

the Testimony ､

אֲשֶׁ֛ר

’ă·šer

אִוָּעֵ֥ד

’iw·wā·‘êḏ

I will meet

לְךָ֖

with you

. שָֽׁמָּה׃

šām·māh.

וְהִקְטִ֥יר

wə·hiq·ṭîr

עָלָ֛יו

‘ā·lāw

on it

אַהֲרֹ֖ן

’a·hă·rōn

קְטֹ֣רֶת

. סַמִּ֑ים

sam·mîm;

בַּבֹּ֣קֶר

bab·bō·qer

בַּבֹּ֗קֶר

bab·bō·qer,

בְּהֵיטִיב֛וֹ

bə·hê·ṭî·ḇōw

אֶת־

’eṯ-

､ הַנֵּרֹ֖ת

han·nê·rōṯ

the lamps ､

. יַקְטִירֶֽנָּה׃

yaq·ṭî·ren·nāh.

he shall burn incense on it .

וּבְהַעֲלֹ֨ת

ū·ḇə·ha·‘ă·lōṯ

And when lights

אַהֲרֹ֧ן

’a·hă·rōn

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַנֵּרֹ֛ת

han·nê·rōṯ

בֵּ֥ין

､ הָעֲרְבַּ֖יִם

. יַקְטִירֶ֑נָּה

or a burnt offering ､

– וּמִנְחָ֑ה

or a grain offering –

וְנֵ֕סֶךְ

and a drink offering

תִסְּכ֖וּ

ṯis·sə·ḵū

. עָלָֽיו׃

‘ā·lāw.

on it .

וְכִפֶּ֤ר

wə·ḵip·per

And shall make atonement

אַהֲרֹן֙

’a·hă·rōn

עַל־

‘al-

קַרְנֹתָ֔יו

qar·nō·ṯāw,

אַחַ֖ת

’a·ḥaṯ

､ בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה

baš·šā·nāh;

in the year ､

מִדַּ֞ם

mid·dam

with the blood

חַטַּ֣את

ḥaṭ·ṭaṯ

of the sin offering

– הַכִּפֻּרִ֗ים

hak·kip·pu·rîm,

of atonement –

אַחַ֤ת

’a·ḥaṯ

בַּשָּׁנָה֙

baš·šā·nāh

in the year

יְכַפֵּ֤ר

yə·ḵap·pêr

he shall make atonement

. עָלָיו֙

upon it .

לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם

Throughout your generations

according to the shekel

of the sanctuary

a shekel [is]

The rich

לֹֽא־

shall give more ､

וְהַדַּל֙

wə·had·dal

and the poor

לֹ֣א

יַמְעִ֔יט

yam·‘îṭ,

shall give less

מִֽמַּחֲצִ֖ית

mim·ma·ḥă·ṣîṯ

､ הַשָּׁ֑קֶל

haš·šā·qel;

a shekel ､

לָתֵת֙

when [you] give

אֶת־

’eṯ-

תְּרוּמַ֣ת

､ יְהוָ֔ה

לְזִכָּרוֹן֙

And You shall put

an offering made by fire

So they shall wash

יְדֵיהֶ֥ם

､ וְרַגְלֵיהֶ֖ם

wə·raḡ·lê·hem

and their feet ､

וְלֹ֣א

wə·lō

and lest

– יָמֻ֑תוּ

yā·mu·ṯū;

וְהָיְתָ֨ה

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

and it shall be

לָהֶ֧ם

lā·hem

חָק־

ḥāq-

עוֹלָ֛ם

‘ō·w·lām

to him

וּלְזַרְע֖וֹ

and his descendants

the lampstand ､

And You shall consecrate

､ אֹתָ֔ם

them ､

וְהָי֖וּ

that they may be

קֹ֣דֶשׁ

qō·ḏeš

– קָֽדָשִׁ֑ים

qā·ḏā·šîm;

holy –

כָּל־

kāl-

הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ

han·nō·ḡê·a‘

בָּהֶ֖ם

bā·hem

. יִקְדָּֽשׁ׃

yiq·dāš.

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

And

אַהֲרֹ֥ן

’a·hă·rōn

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

תִּמְשָׁ֑ח

tim·šāḥ;

you shall anoint

that [they] may minister as priests

you shall speak ､

､ לֵאמֹ֑ר

men

מִשְׁחַת־

miš·ḥaṯ-

קֹ֨דֶשׁ

יִהְיֶ֥ה

yih·yeh

זֶ֛ה

to Me

– וּבְמַ֨תְכֻּנְתּ֔וֹ

and according to its composition –

כָּמֹ֑הוּ

[any other] like it

וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר

יִתֵּ֛ן

yit·tên

מִמֶּ֖נּוּ

mim·men·nū

[any] of it

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ זָ֑ר

zār;

an outsider ､

וְנִכְרַ֖ת

wə·niḵ·raṯ

and shall be cut off

. מֵעַמָּֽיו׃

mê·‘am·māw.

from his people .

The Incense

וַיֹּאמֶר֩

way·yō·mer

And said

יְהוָ֨ה

Yah·weh

אֶל־

’el-

to

､ מֹשֶׁ֜ה

mō·šeh

קַח־

qaḥ-

לְךָ֣

lə·ḵā

to you

､ סַמִּ֗ים

sam·mîm,

sweet spices ､

､ נָטָ֤ף ׀

nā·ṭāp̄

､ וּשְׁחֵ֙לֶת֙

ū·šə·ḥê·leṯ

and onycha ､

– וְחֶלְבְּנָ֔ה

wə·ḥel·bə·nāh,

and galbanum –

סַמִּ֖ים

sam·mîm

[these] sweet spices

וּלְבֹנָ֣ה

ū·lə·ḇō·nāh

and frankincense

– זַכָּ֑ה

zak·kāh;

pure –

בַּ֥ד

baḏ

בְּבַ֖ד

bə·ḇaḏ

. יִהְיֶֽה׃

yih·yeh.

there shall be .

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

And You shall make

אֹתָהּ֙

’ō·ṯāh

､ קְטֹ֔רֶת

qə·ṭō·reṯ,

an incense ､

רֹ֖קַח

rō·qaḥ

מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה

ma·‘ă·śêh

according to the art

רוֹקֵ֑חַ

rō·w·qê·aḥ;

of the perfumer

､ מְמֻלָּ֖ח

mə·mul·lāḥ

､ טָה֥וֹר

ṭā·hō·wr

pure ､

. קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

qō·ḏeš.

[and] holy .

וְשָֽׁחַקְתָּ֣

wə·šā·ḥaq·tā

And you shall beat

מִמֶּנָּה֮

mim·men·nāh

[some] of it

､ הָדֵק֒

hā·ḏêq

וְנָתַתָּ֨ה

wə·nā·ṯat·tāh

and put

מִמֶּ֜נָּה

mim·men·nāh

some of it

לִפְנֵ֤י

lip̄·nê

הָעֵדֻת֙

hā·‘ê·ḏuṯ

בְּאֹ֣הֶל

bə·’ō·hel

in the tabernacle

､ מוֹעֵ֔ד

mō·w·‘êḏ,

of meeting ､

אֲשֶׁ֛ר

’ă·šer

אִוָּעֵ֥ד

’iw·wā·‘êḏ

I will meet

לְךָ֖

lə·ḵā

with you

. שָׁ֑מָּה

šām·māh;

- .

קֹ֥דֶשׁ

qō·ḏeš

-

קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים

qā·ḏā·šîm

תִּהְיֶ֥ה

tih·yeh

it shall be

. לָכֶֽם׃

lā·ḵem.

to you .

וְהַקְּטֹ֙רֶת֙

wə·haq·qə·ṭō·reṯ

But [as for] the incense

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה

ta·‘ă·śeh,

､ בְּמַ֨תְכֻּנְתָּ֔הּ

bə·maṯ·kun·tāh,

according to its composition ､

לֹ֥א

lō

not

תַעֲשׂ֖וּ

ṯa·‘ă·śū

you shall make any

. לָכֶ֑ם

lā·ḵem;

for yourselves .

קֹ֛דֶשׁ

qō·ḏeš

תִּהְיֶ֥ה

tih·yeh

it shall be

לְךָ֖

lə·ḵā

to you

. לַיהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

אִ֛ישׁ

’îš

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה

ya·‘ă·śeh

כָמ֖וֹהָ

ḵā·mō·w·hā

לְהָרִ֣יחַ

lə·hā·rî·aḥ

､ בָּ֑הּ

bāh;

it ､

וְנִכְרַ֖ת

wə·niḵ·raṯ

and he shall be cut off

. מֵעַמָּֽיו׃

mê·‘am·māw.

from his people .
