､ לֵאמֹֽר׃

saying ､

בֶּן־
ben-
､ אָדָ֕ם

of man ､
הִנָּבֵא֙
hin·nā·ḇê
､ וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔
wə·’ā·mar·tā,
and say ､
כֹּ֥ה
kōh
אָמַ֖ר
’ā·mar
אֲדֹנָ֣י
’ă·ḏō·nāy
the Lord
– יְהוִ֑ה
Yah·weh;
GOD –
הֵילִ֖ילוּ
hê·lî·lū
הָ֥הּ
hāh
! לַיּֽוֹם׃
lay·yō·wm.

a day –
עָנָ֔ן

עֵ֥ת

the time
גּוֹיִ֖ם

of the Gentiles
. יִֽהְיֶֽה׃
yih·yeh.
it will be .

וּבָאָ֥ה

חֶ֙רֶב֙
ḥe·reḇ
the sword
､ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם
bə·miṣ·ra·yim,
וְהָיְתָ֤ה
wə·hā·yə·ṯāh
and shall be
חַלְחָלָה֙
ḥal·ḥā·lāh
､ בְּכ֔וּשׁ
bə·ḵūš,
in Ethiopia ､
בִּנְפֹ֥ל
bin·p̄ōl
חָלָ֖ל
ḥā·lāl
the slain
､ בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם
bə·miṣ·rā·yim;
in Egypt ､
וְלָקְח֣וּ
wə·lā·qə·ḥū
､ הֲמוֹנָ֔הּ
hă·mō·w·nāh,
וְנֶהֶרְס֖וּ
wə·ne·her·sū
. יְסוֹדֹתֶֽיהָ׃
yə·sō·w·ḏō·ṯe·hā.

kūš
､ וּפ֤וּט

and Libya ､
､ וְלוּד֙
wə·lūḏ
and Lydia ､
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and all
､ הָעֶ֣רֶב
hā·‘e·reḇ
the mingled people ､
､ וְכ֔וּב
wə·ḵūḇ,
and Chub ､
וּבְנֵ֖י
ū·ḇə·nê
and the men
אֶ֣רֶץ
’e·reṣ
of the lands
､ הַבְּרִ֑ית
hab·bə·rîṯ;
אִתָּ֖ם
’it·tām
with them
בַּחֶ֥רֶב
ba·ḥe·reḇ
by the sword
. יִפֹּֽלוּ׃
yip·pō·lū.

And shall fall –

מִצְרַ֔יִם
miṣ·ra·yim,
– וְיָרַ֖ד
wə·yā·raḏ
and shall come down –
גְּא֣וֹן
gə·’ō·wn
the pride
עֻזָּ֑הּ
‘uz·zāh;
מִמִּגְדֹּ֣ל
mim·miḡ·dōl
סְוֵנֵ֗ה
sə·wê·nêh,
[to] Syene
､ בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙
ba·ḥe·reḇ
by the sword ､
יִפְּלוּ־
yip·pə·lū-
בָ֔הּ
ḇāh,
נְאֻ֖ם
nə·’um
אֲדֹנָ֥י
’ă·ḏō·nāy
the Lord
– יְהוִֽה׃
Yah·weh.
GOD –

וְנָשַׁ֕מּוּ
wə·nā·šam·mū
בְּת֖וֹךְ
bə·ṯō·wḵ
in the midst
אֲרָצ֣וֹת
’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ
of the countries
､ נְשַׁמּ֑וֹת
nə·šam·mō·wṯ;
וְעָרָ֕יו
wə·‘ā·rāw
בְּתוֹךְ־
bə·ṯō·wḵ-
in the midst
עָרִ֥ים
‘ā·rîm
of the cities
נַחֲרָב֖וֹת
na·ḥă·rā·ḇō·wṯ
. תִּֽהְיֶֽינָה׃
tih·ye·nāh.
shall be .

וְיָדְע֖וּ

And they will know

I [am]

בְּתִתִּי־

in Egypt ､
וְנִשְׁבְּר֖וּ

､ לְהַחֲרִ֖יד

to make afraid ､
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
כּ֣וּשׁ
kūš
בֶּ֑טַח
be·ṭaḥ;
וְהָיְתָ֨ה
wə·hā·yə·ṯāh
חַלְחָלָ֤ה
ḥal·ḥā·lāh
בָהֶם֙
ḇā·hem
בְּי֣וֹם
bə·yō·wm
as on the day
– מִצְרַ֔יִם
miṣ·ra·yim,
of Egypt –

of Babylon .

– הָאָ֑רֶץ

the land –
וְהֵרִ֤יקוּ
wə·hê·rî·qū
חַרְבוֹתָם֙
ḥar·ḇō·w·ṯām
עַל־
‘al-
､ מִצְרַ֔יִם
miṣ·ra·yim,
Egypt ､
וּמָלְא֥וּ
ū·mā·lə·’ū
and fill
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הָאָ֖רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ
the land
. חָלָֽל׃
ḥā·lāl.
with the slain .

וְנָתַתִּ֤י
wə·nā·ṯat·tî
And I will make
יְאֹרִים֙
yə·’ō·rîm
the rivers
､ חָֽרָבָ֔ה
ḥā·rā·ḇāh,
dry ､
וּמָכַרְתִּ֥י
ū·mā·ḵar·tî
and sell
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הָאָ֖רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ
the land
בְּיַד־
bə·yaḏ-
– רָעִ֑ים
rā·‘îm;
of the wicked –
וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֞י
wa·hă·šim·mō·ṯî
and I will make waste
אֶ֤רֶץ
’e·reṣ
the land
､ וּמְלֹאָהּ֙
ū·mə·lō·’āh
and all that is in it ､
בְּיַד־
bə·yaḏ-
by the hand
– זָרִ֔ים
zā·rîm,
of aliens –
אֲנִ֥י
’ă·nî
I
יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
. דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃

the idols ､
וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֤י

and cause to cease
אֱלִילִים֙
’ĕ·lî·lîm
the idols
מִנֹּ֔ף
min·nōp̄,
וְנָשִׂ֥יא
wə·nā·śî
מֵאֶֽרֶץ־
mê·’e·reṣ-
– מִצְרַ֖יִם
miṣ·ra·yim
of Egypt –
לֹ֣א

וְנָתַתִּ֥י

and I will put

in the land

of Egypt .

וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִי֙
wa·hă·šim·mō·ṯî
And I will make desolate
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
פַּתְר֔וֹס
paṯ·rō·ws,
וְנָתַ֥תִּי
wə·nā·ṯat·tî
and Set
אֵ֖שׁ
’êš
､ בְּצֹ֑עַן
bə·ṣō·‘an;
to Zoan ､
וְעָשִׂ֥יתִי
wə·‘ā·śî·ṯî
שְׁפָטִ֖ים
šə·p̄ā·ṭîm
. בְּנֹֽא׃
bə·nō.

וְשָׁפַכְתִּ֣י
wə·šā·p̄aḵ·tî
And I will pour
חֲמָתִ֔י
ḥă·mā·ṯî,
My fury
עַל־
‘al-

Sin ､

– מִצְרָ֑יִם
miṣ·rā·yim;
of Egypt –
וְהִכְרַתִּ֖י

and I will cut off

by the sword ､

the yokes

his arms ､

､ הַחֲזָקָ֖ה

both the mighty one ､
וְאֶת־

and
– הַנִּשְׁבָּ֑רֶת
han·niš·bā·reṯ;
the one that was broken –
וְהִפַּלְתִּ֥י
wə·hip·pal·tî
and I will make fall
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הַחֶ֖רֶב
ha·ḥe·reḇ
the sword
. מִיָּדֽוֹ׃
mî·yā·ḏōw.
out of his hand .

וַהֲפִצוֹתִ֥י
wa·hă·p̄i·ṣō·w·ṯî
And I will scatter
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
מִצְרַ֖יִם
miṣ·ra·yim
､ בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם
bag·gō·w·yim;
among the nations ､
וְזֵרִיתִ֖ם
wə·zê·rî·ṯim
. בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃
bā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ.

וְחִזַּקְתִּ֗י
wə·ḥiz·zaq·tî,
And I will strengthen
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
זְרֹעוֹת֙
zə·rō·‘ō·wṯ
the arms
מֶ֣לֶךְ
me·leḵ
of the king
､ בָּבֶ֔ל
bā·ḇel,
of Babylon ､
וְנָתַתִּ֥י
wə·nā·ṯat·tî
and put
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
חַרְבִּ֖י
ḥar·bî
– בְּיָד֑וֹ
bə·yā·ḏōw;
in his hand –
וְשָׁבַרְתִּי֙
wə·šā·ḇar·tî
but I will break
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ זְרֹע֣וֹת
zə·rō·‘ō·wṯ
arms ､
פַּרְעֹ֔ה
par·‘ōh,
וְנָאַ֛ק
wə·nā·’aq
and he will groan
נַאֲק֥וֹת
na·’ă·qō·wṯ
with the groanings
חָלָ֖ל
ḥā·lāl
. לְפָנָֽיו׃
lə·p̄ā·nāw.

וְהַחֲזַקְתִּ֗י
wə·ha·ḥă·zaq·tî,
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
זְרֹעוֹת֙
zə·rō·‘ō·wṯ
the arms
מֶ֣לֶךְ
me·leḵ
of the king
､ בָּבֶ֔ל
bā·ḇel,
of Babylon ､
וּזְרֹע֥וֹת
ū·zə·rō·‘ō·wṯ
but the arms
פַּרְעֹ֖ה
par·‘ōh
– תִּפֹּ֑לְנָה
tip·pō·lə·nāh;
וְֽיָדְע֞וּ

כִּֽי־

אֲנִ֣י

I [am]
