בֵּל֙

bêl

､ קֹרֵ֣ס

qō·rês

נְב֔וֹ

nə·ḇōw,

הָיוּ֙

hā·yū

עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֔ם

‘ă·ṣab·bê·hem,

､ לַחַיָּ֖ה

la·ḥay·yāh

on the beasts ､

. וְלַבְּהֵמָ֑ה

wə·lab·bə·hê·māh;

and on the cattle .

נְשֻׂאֹתֵיכֶ֣ם

nə·śu·’ō·ṯê·ḵem

– עֲמוּס֔וֹת

‘ă·mū·sō·wṯ,

[were] heavily loaded –

מַשָּׂ֖א

maś·śā

. לַעֲיֵפָֽה׃

la·‘ă·yê·p̄āh.

to the weary [beast] .

､ קָרְס֤וּ

qā·rə·sū

כָֽרְעוּ֙

ḵā·rə·‘ū

– יַחְדָּ֔ו

yaḥ·dāw,

לֹ֥א

lō

not

יָכְל֖וּ

yā·ḵə·lū

מַלֵּ֣ט

mal·lêṭ

､ מַשָּׂ֑א

maś·śā;

the burden ､

וְנַפְשָׁ֖ם

wə·nap̄·šām

בַּשְּׁבִ֥י

baš·šə·ḇî

. הָלָֽכָה׃

hā·lā·ḵāh.

שִׁמְע֤וּ

šim·‘ū

אֵלַי֙

’ê·lay

to Me

בֵּ֣ית

bêṯ

､ יַעֲקֹ֔ב

ya·‘ă·qōḇ,

of Jacob ､

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

שְׁאֵרִ֖ית

šə·’ê·rîṯ

בֵּ֣ית

bêṯ

of the house

､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

yiś·rā·’êl;

of Israel ､

הַֽעֲמֻסִים֙

ha·‘ă·mu·sîm

who have been upheld [by Me]

מִנִּי־

min·nî-

､ בֶ֔טֶן

ḇe·ṭen,

הַנְּשֻׂאִ֖ים

han·nə·śu·’îm

who have been carried

מִנִּי־

min·nî-

– רָֽחַם׃

rā·ḥam.

the womb –

וְעַד־

wə·‘aḏ-

and Even to

זִקְנָה֙

ziq·nāh

אֲנִ֣י

’ă·nî

I [am]

– ה֔וּא

hū,

He –

וְעַד־

wə·‘aḏ-

and [even] to

שֵיבָ֖ה‪‬

šê·ḇāh

אֲנִ֣י

’ă·nî

I will

אֶסְבֹּ֑ל

’es·bōl;

אֲנִ֤י

’ă·nî

I

､ עָשִׂ֙יתִי֙

‘ā·śî·ṯî

וַאֲנִ֣י

wa·’ă·nî

and I

– אֶשָּׂ֔א

’eś·śā,

will bear –

וַאֲנִ֥י

wa·’ă·nî

and Even I

､ אֶסְבֹּ֖ל

’es·bōl

will carry ､

. וַאֲמַלֵּֽט׃

wa·’ă·mal·lêṭ.

and will deliver [you] .

לְמִ֥י

lə·mî

תְדַמְי֖וּנִי

ṯə·ḏam·yū·nî

will you liken Me

､ וְתַשְׁו֑וּ

wə·ṯaš·wū;

and make [Me] equal ､

וְתַמְשִׁל֖וּנִי

wə·ṯam·ši·lū·nî

and compare Me

؟ וְנִדְמֶֽה׃

wə·niḏ·meh.

that we should be alike ؟

הַזָּלִ֤ים

haz·zā·lîm

זָהָב֙

zā·hāḇ

､ מִכִּ֔יס

mik·kîs,

out of the bag ､

וְכֶ֖סֶף

wə·ḵe·sep̄

､ בַּקָּנֶ֣ה

baq·qā·neh

on the scales ､

יִשְׁקֹ֑לוּ

yiš·qō·lū;

יִשְׂכְּר֤וּ

yiś·kə·rū

– צוֹרֵף֙

ṣō·w·rêp̄

a goldsmith –

וְיַעֲשֵׂ֣הוּ

wə·ya·‘ă·śê·hū

and he makes it

– אֵ֔ל

’êl,

a god –

､ יִסְגְּד֖וּ

yis·gə·ḏū

they prostrate themselves ､

､ אַף־

’ap̄-

yes ､

. יִֽשְׁתַּחֲוּֽוּ׃‪‬

yiš·ta·ḥăw·wū

יִ֠שָּׂאֻהוּ

yiś·śā·’u·hū

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ כָּתֵ֨ף

kā·ṯêp̄

the shoulder ､

יִסְבְּלֻ֜הוּ

yis·bə·lu·hū

וְיַנִּיחֻ֤הוּ

wə·yan·nî·ḥu·hū

and set it

､ תַחְתָּיו֙

ṯaḥ·tāw

in its place ､

– וְיַֽעֲמֹ֔ד

wə·ya·‘ă·mōḏ,

and it stands –

מִמְּקוֹמ֖וֹ

mim·mə·qō·w·mōw

לֹ֣א

lō

not

– יָמִ֑ישׁ

yā·mîš;

it shall move –

､ אַף־

’ap̄-

יִצְעַ֤ק

yiṣ·‘aq

[one] cries out

אֵלָיו֙

’ê·lāw

to it

וְלֹ֣א

wə·lō

､ יַעֲנֶ֔ה

ya·‘ă·neh,

it answer ､

. מִצָּרָת֖וֹ

miṣ·ṣā·rā·ṯōw

out of his trouble .

לֹ֥א

lō

. יוֹשִׁיעֶֽנּוּ׃

yō·wō·šî·‘en·nū.

זִכְרוּ־

ziḵ·rū-

､ זֹ֖את

zōṯ

this ､

– וְהִתְאֹשָׁ֑שׁוּ

wə·hiṯ·’ō·šā·šū;

and show yourselves men –

הָשִׁ֥יבוּ

hā·šî·ḇū

. פוֹשְׁעִ֖ים

p̄ō·wō·šə·‘îm

you transgressors .

עַל־

‘al-

To

､ לֵֽב׃

lêḇ.

mind ､

זִכְר֥וּ

ziḵ·rū

רִאשֹׁנ֖וֹת

ri·šō·nō·wṯ

the former things

– מֵעוֹלָ֑ם

mê·‘ō·w·lām;

of old –

כִּ֣י

kî

אָנֹכִ֥י

’ā·nō·ḵî

I [am]

､ אֵל֙

’êl

God ､

וְאֵ֣ין

wə·’ên

and [there is] no

– ע֔וֹד

‘ō·wḏ,

､ אֱלֹהִ֖ים

’ĕ·lō·hîm

[I am] God ､

וְאֶ֥פֶס

wə·’e·p̄es

and [there is] none

､ כָּמֽוֹנִי׃

kā·mō·w·nî.

like Me ､

מַגִּ֤יד

mag·gîḏ

､ מֵֽרֵאשִׁית֙

mê·rê·šîṯ

from the beginning ､

אַחֲרִ֔ית

’a·ḥă·rîṯ,

the end

וּמִקֶּ֖דֶם

ū·miq·qe·ḏem

and from ancient times

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

לֹא־

lō-

not

､ נַעֲשׂ֑וּ

na·‘ă·śū;

are [yet] done ､

､ אֹמֵר֙

’ō·mêr

עֲצָתִ֣י

‘ă·ṣā·ṯî

､ תָק֔וּם

ṯā·qūm,

shall stand ､

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

– חֶפְצִ֖י

ḥep̄·ṣî

My pleasure –

. אֶעֱשֶֽׂה׃

’e·‘ĕ·śeh.

I will do .

קֹרֵ֤א

qō·rê

､ מִמִּזְרָח֙

mim·miz·rāḥ

from the east ､

עַ֔יִט

‘a·yiṭ,

. מֵאֶ֥רֶץ

mê·’e·reṣ

from a country .

מֶרְחָ֖ק

mer·ḥāq

אִ֣ישׁ

’îš

the man

[עצתו]

‘ă·ṣā·ṯōw

-

(עֲצָתִ֑י)

‘ă·ṣā·ṯî;

who [executes] My counsel

､ אַף־

’ap̄-

דִּבַּ֙רְתִּי֙

dib·bar·tî

I have spoken [it]

אַף־

’ap̄-

– אֲבִיאֶ֔נָּה

’ă·ḇî·’en·nāh,

I will bring it to pass –

יָצַ֖רְתִּי

yā·ṣar·tî

I have purposed [it]

אַף־

’ap̄-

. אֶעֱשֶֽׂנָּה׃

’e·‘ĕ·śen·nāh.

I will do it .

שִׁמְע֥וּ

šim·‘ū

אֵלַ֖י

’ê·lay

to Me

אַבִּ֣ירֵי

’ab·bî·rê

､ לֵ֑ב

lêḇ;

of heart ､

הָרְחוֹקִ֖ים

hā·rə·ḥō·w·qîm

. מִצְּדָקָֽה׃

miṣ·ṣə·ḏā·qāh.

from righteousness .

קֵרַ֤בְתִּי

qê·raḇ·tî

– צִדְקָתִי֙

ṣiḏ·qā·ṯî

My righteousness –

לֹ֣א

lō

not

､ תִרְחָ֔ק

ṯir·ḥāq,

it shall be far off ､

וּתְשׁוּעָתִ֖י

ū·ṯə·šū·‘ā·ṯî

and My salvation

לֹ֣א

lō

not

. תְאַחֵ֑ר

ṯə·’a·ḥêr;

וְנָתַתִּ֤י

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

And I will place

בְצִיּוֹן֙

ḇə·ṣî·yō·wn

תְּשׁוּעָ֔ה

tə·šū·‘āh,

לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

lə·yiś·rā·’êl

. תִּפְאַרְתִּֽי׃

tip̄·’ar·tî.
