. בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

bî·rū·šā·lim;

וְשֵׁ֣ם

And name [was]

אִמּ֔וֹ

’im·mōw,

[חמיטל]

ḥă·mî·ṭal

(חֲמוּטַ֥ל)

ḥă·mū·ṭal

בַּֽת־

baṯ-

יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ

yir·mə·yā·hū

. מִלִּבְנָֽה׃

mil·liḇ·nāh.

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ

way·ya·‘aś

And He did

הָרַ֖ע

hā·ra‘

בְּעֵינֵ֣י

bə·‘ê·nê

in the sight

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

of Yahweh ､

כְּכֹ֥ל

kə·ḵōl

according to all

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

עָשָׂ֖ה

‘ā·śāh

. יְהוֹיָקִֽים׃

yə·hō·w·yā·qîm.

כִּ֣י ׀

עַל־

‘al-

אַ֣ף

of the anger

יְהוָ֗ה

Yah·weh

הָֽיְתָה֙

[this] happened

בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֣ם

､ וִֽיהוּדָ֔ה

wî·hū·ḏāh,

and Judah ､

עַד־

‘aḏ-

הִשְׁלִיכ֥וֹ

hiš·lî·ḵōw

He finally cast out

אוֹתָ֖ם

מֵעַ֣ל

mê·‘al

､ פָּנָ֑יו

pā·nāw;

His presence ､

וַיִּמְרֹ֥ד

way·yim·rōḏ

צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ

ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū

בְּמֶ֥לֶךְ

bə·me·leḵ

against the king

. בָּבֶֽל׃

bā·ḇel.

וַיְהִי֩

And it came to pass

בַשָּׁנָ֨ה

ḇaš·šā·nāh

הַתְּשִׁעִ֜ית

hat·tə·ši·‘îṯ

､ לְמָלְכ֗וֹ

lə·mā·lə·ḵōw,

of his reign ､

､ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ

ba·ḥō·ḏeš

in month ､

הָעֲשִׂירִי֮

hā·‘ă·śî·rî

בֶּעָשׂ֣וֹר

be·‘ā·śō·wr

on the tenth [day]

､ לַחֹדֶשׁ֒

[that] came ､

the city

עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה

[and] ten

שָׁנָ֔ה

šā·nāh,

the year

לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ

. צִדְקִיָּֽהוּ׃

､ בַּחֹ֤דֶשׁ

ba·ḥō·ḏeš

By month ､

הָֽרְבִיעִי֙

בְּתִשְׁעָ֣ה

､ לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ

and had become so severe

הָרָעָ֖ב

､ בָּעִ֑יר

in the city ､

וְלֹא־

הָיָ֥ה

לֶ֖חֶם

לְעַ֥ם

. הָאָֽרֶץ׃

､ וַתִּבָּקַ֣ע

And was broken through ､

הָעִ֗יר

hā·‘îr,

the city [wall]

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

אַנְשֵׁ֣י

’an·šê

הַמִּלְחָמָ֡ה

ham·mil·ḥā·māh

of the war

､ יִבְרְחוּ֩

yiḇ·rə·ḥū

fled ､

וַיֵּצְא֨וּ

way·yê·ṣə·’ū

מֵהָעִ֜יר

mê·hā·‘îr

of the city

לַ֗יְלָה

lay·lāh,

דֶּ֜רֶךְ

the two walls ､

､ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ

וַיַּשִּׂ֥יגוּ

and they overtook

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ

בְּעַֽרְבֹ֣ת

bə·‘ar·ḇōṯ

in the plains

– יְרֵח֑וֹ

yə·rê·ḥōw;

of Jericho –

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

חֵיל֔וֹ

ḥê·lōw,

נָפֹ֖צוּ

nā·p̄ō·ṣū

. מֵעָלָֽיו׃

mê·‘ā·lāw.

וַֽיִּתְפְּשׂוּ֙

way·yiṯ·pə·śū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ

ham·me·leḵ,

the king ､

וַיַּעֲל֨וּ

way·ya·‘ă·lū

and brought up

אֹת֜וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

אֶל־

’el-

to

מֶ֧לֶךְ

me·leḵ

the king

בָּבֶ֛ל

רִבְלָ֖תָה

riḇ·lā·ṯāh

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

in the land

– חֲמָ֑ת

of Hamath –

וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר

and he pronounced

the king

､ בַֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֗יִם

in bronze fetters ､

וַיְבִאֵ֤הוּ

way·ḇi·’ê·hū

מֶֽלֶךְ־

the king

בָּבֶל֙

､ בָּבֶ֔לָה

to Babylon ､

וַיִּתְּנֵ֥הוּ

the bowls ､

､ הַכַּפּ֗וֹת

the spoons ､

and

､ הַסִּיר֣וֹת

the pots ､

וְאֶת־

and

､ הַמְּנֹר֗וֹת

the lampstands ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ הַכַּפּוֹת֙

the spoons ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

– הַמְּנַקִי֔וֹת

ham·mə·na·qi·yō·wṯ,

the cups –

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

זָהָב֙

zā·hāḇ

､ זָהָ֔ב

zā·hāḇ,

וַאֲשֶׁר־

wa·’ă·šer-

and whatever [was]

כֶּ֖סֶף

ke·sep̄

､ כָּ֑סֶף

kā·sep̄;

לָקַ֖ח

lā·qaḥ

רַב־

raḇ-

. טַבָּחִֽים׃

of the guard .

､ הָעַמּוּדִ֣ים ׀

The pillars ､

שְׁנַ֗יִם

Sea ､

אֶחָד֙

וְהַבָּקָ֞ר

and the bulls

שְׁנֵים־

עָשָׂ֤ר

[and] ten

נְחֹ֙שֶׁת֙

אֲשֶׁר־

תַּ֣חַת

under [it]

､ הַמְּכֹנ֔וֹת

[and] the carts ､

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

עָשָׂ֛ה

הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ

ham·me·leḵ

שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה

לְבֵ֣ית

lə·ḇêṯ

– יְהוָ֑ה

לִנְחֻשְׁתָּ֖ם

､ וְהָעַמּוּדִ֗ים

And [concerning] the pillars ､

שְׁמֹנֶ֨ה

עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה

[was] [and] ten

– אַמָּה֙

’am·māh

[קומה]

(קוֹמַת֙)

the height of

הָעַמֻּ֣ד

הָאֶחָ֔ד

hā·’e·ḥāḏ,

וְח֛וּט

wə·ḥūṭ

and a measuring line

שְׁתֵּים־

šə·têm-

of two

עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה

‘eś·rêh

[and] ten

אַמָּ֖ה

’am·māh

יְסֻבֶּ֑נּוּ

yə·sub·ben·nū;

could measure its circumference

וְעָבְי֛וֹ

wə·‘ā·ḇə·yōw

and its thickness [was]

אַרְבַּ֥ע

’ar·ba‘

– אַצְבָּע֖וֹת

’aṣ·bā·‘ō·wṯ

. נָבֽוּב׃

nā·ḇūḇ.

[it was] hollow .

וְכֹתֶ֨רֶת

wə·ḵō·ṯe·reṯ

עָלָ֜יו

‘ā·lāw

of [was] on it

נְחֹ֗שֶׁת

nə·ḥō·šeṯ,

וְקוֹמַ֨ת

wə·qō·w·maṯ

and the height

הַכֹּתֶ֥רֶת

hak·kō·ṯe·reṯ

הָאַחַת֮

hā·’a·ḥaṯ

חָמֵ֣שׁ

ḥā·mêš

､ אַמּוֹת֒

’am·mō·wṯ

וּשְׂבָכָ֨ה

ū·śə·ḇā·ḵāh

and with a network

וְרִמּוֹנִ֧ים

wə·rim·mō·w·nîm

and pomegranates

עַֽל־

‘al-

on

הַכּוֹתֶ֛רֶת

hak·kō·w·ṯe·reṯ

､ סָבִ֖יב

sā·ḇîḇ

הַכֹּ֣ל

hak·kōl

. נְחֹ֑שֶׁת

nə·ḥō·šeṯ;

. וְכָאֵ֛לֶּה

And like these .

לַֽעַמּ֥וּד

הַשֵּׁנִ֖י

. וְרִמּוֹנִֽים׃

and with pomegranates .

וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙

way·yih·yū

הָֽרִמֹּנִ֔ים

hā·rim·mō·nîm,

תִּשְׁעִ֥ים

tiš·‘îm

וְשִׁשָּׁ֖ה

wə·šiš·šāh

and six

– ר֑וּחָה

rū·ḥāh;

on the sides –

כָּל־

kāl-

הָרִמּוֹנִ֥ים

hā·rim·mō·w·nîm

the pomegranates [were]

מֵאָ֛ה

mê·’āh

עַל־

‘al-

on

הַשְּׂבָכָ֖ה

haś·śə·ḇā·ḵāh

. סָבִֽיב׃

Captives Carried to Babylon

וַיִּקַּ֣ח

way·yiq·qaḥ

And took

the army ､

הַמַּצְבִּ֖א

ham·maṣ·bi

אֶת־

’eṯ-

– הָאָ֑רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ;

of the land –

וְשִׁשִּׁ֥ים

wə·šiš·šîm

אִישׁ֙

מֵעַ֣ם

mê·‘am

of the people

､ הָאָ֔רֶץ

of the land ､

הַֽנִּמְצְאִ֖ים

han·nim·ṣə·’îm

בְּת֥וֹךְ

in the midst

And took

נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֖ן

Thus was carried away captive

and he ate

before the king
