וַיִּקְרָ֖א
way·yiq·rā
And called
אֶל־
’el-
to
מֹשֶׁ֑ה
mō·šeh;
וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר
way·ḏab·bêr
and spoke
יְהוָה֙
Yah·weh
אֵלָ֔יו
’ê·lāw,
to him
מֵאֹ֥הֶל
mê·’ō·hel
､ מוֹעֵ֖ד
mō·w·‘êḏ
of meeting ､
､ לֵאמֹֽר׃
lê·mōr.
saying ､

דַּבֵּ֞ר
dab·bêr
אֶל־
’el-
to
בְּנֵ֤י
bə·nê
the sons
､ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙
yiś·rā·’êl
of Israel ､
וְאָמַרְתָּ֣
wə·’ā·mar·tā
and say
､ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם
’ă·lê·hem,
to them ､
אָדָ֗ם
’ā·ḏām,
כִּֽי־
kî-
יַקְרִ֥יב
yaq·rîḇ
מִכֶּ֛ם
mik·kem
of you
קָרְבָּ֖ן
qār·bān
､ לַֽיהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
to Yahweh ､
מִן־
min-
of
､ הַבְּהֵמָ֗ה
hab·bə·hê·māh,
the livestock ､
מִן־
min-
of
､ הַבָּקָר֙
hab·bā·qār
the herd ､
וּמִן־
ū·min-
and
. הַצֹּ֔אן
haṣ·ṣōn,
of the flock .
תַּקְרִ֖יבוּ
taq·rî·ḇū
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
. קָרְבַּנְכֶֽם׃
qā·rə·ban·ḵem.

the herd
זָכָ֥ר

תָּמִ֖ים
tā·mîm
. יַקְרִיבֶ֑נּוּ
yaq·rî·ḇen·nū;
אֶל־
’el-
At
פֶּ֝תַח‪‬
pe·ṯaḥ
the door
אֹ֤הֶל
’ō·hel
of the tabernacle
מוֹעֵד֙
mō·w·‘êḏ
יַקְרִ֣יב
yaq·rîḇ
אֹת֔וֹ
’ō·ṯōw,
it
לִרְצֹנ֖וֹ
lir·ṣō·nōw
of his own free will
לִפְנֵ֥י
lip̄·nê
. יְהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.

וְסָמַ֣ךְ
wə·sā·maḵ
And he shall put
יָד֔וֹ
yā·ḏōw,
עַ֖ל
‘al
on
רֹ֣אשׁ
rōš
the head
､ הָעֹלָ֑ה
hā·‘ō·lāh;
of the burnt offering ､
וְנִרְצָ֥ה
wə·nir·ṣāh
and it will be accepted
ל֖וֹ
lōw
לְכַפֵּ֥ר
lə·ḵap·pêr
. עָלָֽיו׃
‘ā·lāw.

וְשָׁחַ֛ט
wə·šā·ḥaṭ
And He shall kill
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
בֶּ֥ן
ben
the young
הַבָּקָ֖ר
hab·bā·qār
the bull
לִפְנֵ֣י
lip̄·nê
､ יְהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
Yahweh ､
וְ֠הִקְרִיבוּ
wə·hiq·rî·ḇū
בְּנֵ֨י
bə·nê
the sons
､ אַהֲרֹ֤ן
’a·hă·rōn
of Aaron ､
הַֽכֹּֽהֲנִים֙
hak·kō·hă·nîm
､ אֶת־
’eṯ-
- ､
､ הַדָּ֔ם
had·dām,
the blood ､
וְזָרְק֨וּ
wə·zā·rə·qū
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הַדָּ֤ם
had·dām
the blood
עַל־
‘al-
on
הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙
ham·miz·bê·aḥ
the altar
､ סָבִ֔יב
sā·ḇîḇ,
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
פֶּ֖תַח
pe·ṯaḥ
[is by] the door
אֹ֥הֶל
’ō·hel
of the tabernacle
. מוֹעֵֽד׃
mō·w·‘êḏ.
of meeting .

וְהִפְשִׁ֖יט
wə·hip̄·šîṭ
And he shall
אֶת־
’eṯ-
､ הָעֹלָ֑ה
hā·‘ō·lāh;
the burnt offering ､
וְנִתַּ֥ח
wə·nit·taḥ
and cut
אֹתָ֖הּ
’ō·ṯāh
it
. לִנְתָחֶֽיהָ׃
lin·ṯā·ḥe·hā.

וְ֠נָתְנוּ
wə·nā·ṯə·nū
בְּנֵ֨י
bə·nê
the sons
אַהֲרֹ֧ן
’a·hă·rōn
הַכֹּהֵ֛ן
hak·kō·hên
the priest
אֵ֖שׁ
’êš
עַל־
‘al-
on
､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ
ham·miz·bê·aḥ;
the altar ､
וְעָרְכ֥וּ
wə·‘ā·rə·ḵū
and lay in order
עֵצִ֖ים
‘ê·ṣîm
the wood
עַל־
‘al-
on
. הָאֵֽשׁ׃
hā·’êš.
the fire .

וְעָרְכ֗וּ
wə·‘ā·rə·ḵū,
בְּנֵ֤י
bə·nê
the sons
､ אַהֲרֹן֙
’a·hă·rōn
of Aaron ､
､ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים
hak·kō·hă·nîm,
the priests ､
אֵ֚ת
’êṯ
-
הַנְּתָחִ֔ים
han·nə·ṯā·ḥîm,
the parts
אֶת־
’eṯ-
､ הָרֹ֖אשׁ
hā·rōš
the head ､
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
､ הַפָּ֑דֶר
hap·pā·ḏer;
the fat ､
עַל־
‘al-
on
הָעֵצִים֙
hā·‘ê·ṣîm
the wood
אֲשֶׁ֣ר
’ă·šer
עַל־

the fire
אֲשֶׁ֖ר

וְקִרְבּ֥וֹ
wə·qir·bōw
וּכְרָעָ֖יו

and its legs
יִרְחַ֣ץ
yir·ḥaṣ
､ בַּמָּ֑יִם
bam·mā·yim;
with water ､
וְהִקְטִ֨יר
wə·hiq·ṭîr
הַכֹּהֵ֤ן
hak·kō·hên
the priest
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הַכֹּל֙
hak·kōl
､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה
ham·miz·bê·ḥāh,
on the altar ､
､ עֹלָ֛ה
‘ō·lāh
as a burnt sacrifice ､
אִשֵּׁ֥ה
’iš·šêh
רֵֽיחַ־
rê·aḥ-
נִיח֖וֹחַ
nî·ḥō·w·aḥ
. לַֽיהוָֽה׃

the sheep ､

the goats ､
לְעֹלָ֑ה

וְשָׁחַ֨ט

And He shall kill

the side
הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ
ham·miz·bê·aḥ
of the altar
צָפֹ֖נָה
ṣā·p̄ō·nāh
לִפְנֵ֣י
lip̄·nê
– יְהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
Yahweh –
וְזָרְק֡וּ
wə·zā·rə·qū
בְּנֵי֩
bə·nê
､ אַהֲרֹ֨ן
’a·hă·rōn
of Aaron ､
､ הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים
hak·kō·hă·nîm
the priests ､
אֶת־

the altar
. סָבִֽיב׃

וְנִתַּ֤ח
wə·nit·taḥ
And he shall cut
אֹתוֹ֙
’ō·ṯōw
it
､ לִנְתָחָ֔יו
lin·ṯā·ḥāw,
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and with
רֹאשׁ֖וֹ
rō·šōw
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
､ פִּדְר֑וֹ
piḏ·rōw;
its fat ､
וְעָרַ֤ךְ
wə·‘ā·raḵ
הַכֹּהֵן֙
hak·kō·hên
the priest
אֹתָ֔ם
’ō·ṯām,
-
עַל־
‘al-
on
הָֽעֵצִים֙
hā·‘ê·ṣîm
the wood
אֲשֶׁ֣ר
’ă·šer
that [is]
עַל־
‘al-
on
הָאֵ֔שׁ
hā·’êš,
the fire
אֲשֶׁ֖ר
’ă·šer
עַל־
‘al-
[is] on
. הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
ham·miz·bê·aḥ.
the altar .

וְהַקֶּ֥רֶב
wə·haq·qe·reḇ
But the entrails
וְהַכְּרָעַ֖יִם
wə·hak·kə·rā·‘a·yim
and the legs
יִרְחַ֣ץ
yir·ḥaṣ
. בַּמָּ֑יִם
bam·mā·yim;
with water .
וְהִקְרִ֨יב
wə·hiq·rîḇ
And shall bring [it]
הַכֹּהֵ֤ן
hak·kō·hên
the priest
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ הַכֹּל֙
hak·kōl
all ､
וְהִקְטִ֣יר
wə·hiq·ṭîr
and burn [it]
– הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה
ham·miz·bê·ḥāh,
on the altar –
עֹלָ֣ה
‘ō·lāh
､ ה֗וּא
hū,
it ､
､ אִשֵּׁ֛ה
’iš·šêh
an offering made by fire ､
רֵ֥יחַ
rê·aḥ
נִיחֹ֖חַ
nî·ḥō·aḥ
. לַיהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.
to Yahweh .

hat·tō·rîm,

And shall bring it
הַכֹּהֵן֙
hak·kō·hên
the priest
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ
ham·miz·bê·aḥ,
the altar ､
וּמָלַק֙
ū·mā·laq
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ רֹאשׁ֔וֹ
rō·šōw,
its head ､
וְהִקְטִ֖יר
wə·hiq·ṭîr
and burn [it]
– הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה
ham·miz·bê·ḥāh;
on the altar –
וְנִמְצָ֣ה
wə·nim·ṣāh
דָמ֔וֹ
ḏā·mōw,
עַ֖ל
‘al
at
קִ֥יר
qîr
the side
. הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
ham·miz·bê·aḥ.
of the altar .

וְהֵסִ֥יר
wə·hê·sîr
And he shall remove
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
מֻרְאָת֖וֹ
mur·’ā·ṯōw
､ בְּנֹצָתָ֑הּ
bə·nō·ṣā·ṯāh;
with its feathers ､
וְהִשְׁלִ֨יךְ
wə·hiš·lîḵ
and cast
אֹתָ֜הּ
’ō·ṯāh
it
אֵ֤צֶל
’ê·ṣel
הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙
ham·miz·bê·aḥ
the altar
､ קֵ֔דְמָה
qê·ḏə·māh,
on the east side ､
אֶל־
’el-
מְק֖וֹם
mə·qō·wm
. הַדָּֽשֶׁן׃
had·dā·šen.
17
וְשִׁסַּ֨ע
wə·šis·sa‘
And he shall split
אֹת֣וֹ
’ō·ṯōw
it
､ בִכְנָפָיו֮
ḇiḵ·nā·p̄āw
at its wings ､
לֹ֣א
lō
not
､ יַבְדִּיל֒
yaḇ·dîl
[but] shall divide [it] completely ､
וְהִקְטִ֨יר
wə·hiq·ṭîr
אֹת֤וֹ
’ō·ṯōw
it
הַכֹּהֵן֙
hak·kō·hên
the priest
､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה
ham·miz·bê·ḥāh,
on the altar ､
עַל־
‘al-
on
הָעֵצִ֖ים
hā·‘ê·ṣîm
the wood
אֲשֶׁ֣ר
’ă·šer
that [is]
עַל־
‘al-
on
. הָאֵ֑שׁ
