Laws for Grain Offerings

וְנֶ֗פֶשׁ
wə·ne·p̄eš,
And anyone
כִּֽי־
kî-
תַקְרִ֞יב
ṯaq·rîḇ
קָרְבַּ֤ן
qā·rə·ban
מִנְחָה֙
min·ḥāh
､ לַֽיהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
to Yahweh ､
סֹ֖לֶת
sō·leṯ
[of] fine flour
יִהְיֶ֣ה
yih·yeh
. קָרְבָּנ֑וֹ
qā·rə·bā·nōw;
וְיָצַ֤ק
wə·yā·ṣaq
And he shall pour
עָלֶ֙יהָ֙
‘ā·le·hā
on it
שֶׁ֔מֶן
še·men,
וְנָתַ֥ן
wə·nā·ṯan
and put
עָלֶ֖יהָ
‘ā·le·hā
on it
. לְבֹנָֽה׃
lə·ḇō·nāh.

וֶֽהֱבִיאָ֗הּ
we·hĕ·ḇî·’āh,
And He shall bring it
אֶל־
’el-
to
בְּנֵ֣י
bə·nê
､ אַהֲרֹן֮
’a·hă·rōn
of Aaron ､
– הַכֹּהֲנִים֒
hak·kō·hă·nîm
the priests –
וְקָמַ֨ץ
wə·qā·maṣ
מִשָּׁ֜ם
miš·šām
from it
מְלֹ֣א
mə·lō
-
קֻמְצ֗וֹ
qum·ṣōw,
מִסָּלְתָּהּ֙
mis·sā·lə·tāh
וּמִשַּׁמְנָ֔הּ
ū·miš·šam·nāh,
and oil
עַ֖ל
‘al
with
כָּל־
kāl-
､ לְבֹנָתָ֑הּ
lə·ḇō·nā·ṯāh;
the frankincense ､
וְהִקְטִ֨יר
wə·hiq·ṭîr
and shall burn [it]
הַכֹּהֵ֜ן
hak·kō·hên
the priest
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
אַזְכָּרָתָהּ֙
’az·kā·rā·ṯāh
[as] a memorial
､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה
ham·miz·bê·ḥāh,
on the altar ､
､ אִשֵּׁ֛ה
’iš·šêh
an offering made by fire ､
רֵ֥יחַ
rê·aḥ
נִיחֹ֖חַ
nî·ḥō·aḥ
. לַיהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.
to Yahweh .

וְהַנּוֹתֶ֙רֶת֙
wə·han·nō·w·ṯe·reṯ
And the rest [shall be]
מִן־
min-
of
הַמִּנְחָ֔ה
ham·min·ḥāh,
לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן
lə·’a·hă·rōn
– וּלְבָנָ֑יו
ū·lə·ḇā·nāw;
and his sons' –
קֹ֥דֶשׁ
qō·ḏeš
-
קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים
qā·ḏā·šîm
[it is] most holy
מֵאִשֵּׁ֥י
mê·’iš·šê
of the offerings made by fire to
. יְהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.

And if
תַקְרִ֛ב

קָרְבַּ֥ן

as an offering
מִנְחָ֖ה
min·ḥāh
מַאֲפֵ֣ה
ma·’ă·p̄êh
､ תַנּ֑וּר
ṯan·nūr;
the oven ､
סֹ֣לֶת
sō·leṯ
חַלּ֤וֹת
ḥal·lō·wṯ
מַצֹּת֙
maṣ·ṣōṯ
בְּלוּלֹ֣ת
bə·lū·lōṯ
､ בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן
baš·še·men,
with oil ､
וּרְקִיקֵ֥י
ū·rə·qî·qê
מַצּ֖וֹת
maṣ·ṣō·wṯ
מְשֻׁחִ֥ים
mə·šu·ḥîm
. בַּשָּֽׁמֶן׃
baš·šā·men.
with oil .

וְאִם־

But if
מִנְחָ֥ה
min·ḥāh
עַל־
‘al-
in
הַֽמַּחֲבַ֖ת
ham·ma·ḥă·ḇaṯ
a pan
. קָרְבָּנֶ֑ךָ
qā·rə·bā·ne·ḵā;
your offering [is] .
סֹ֛לֶת
sō·leṯ
[it shall be of] fine flour
בְּלוּלָ֥ה
bə·lū·lāh
בַשֶּׁ֖מֶן
ḇaš·še·men
with oil
､ מַצָּ֥ה
maṣ·ṣāh
. תִהְיֶֽה׃
ṯih·yeh.
it shall be .

פָּת֤וֹת
pā·ṯō·wṯ
אֹתָהּ֙
’ō·ṯāh
it
､ פִּתִּ֔ים
pit·tîm,
in pieces ､
וְיָצַקְתָּ֥
wə·yā·ṣaq·tā
and pour
עָלֶ֖יהָ
‘ā·le·hā
on it
– שָׁ֑מֶן
šā·men;
oil –
מִנְחָ֖ה
min·ḥāh
. הִֽוא׃
hî
it .

וְאִם־
wə·’im-
And if
מִנְחַ֥ת
min·ḥaṯ
[is] a grain offering [baked] in
מַרְחֶ֖שֶׁת
mar·ḥe·šeṯ
､ קָרְבָּנֶ֑ךָ
qā·rə·bā·ne·ḵā;
סֹ֥לֶת
sō·leṯ
[of] fine flour
בַּשֶּׁ֖מֶן
baš·še·men
with oil
. תֵּעָשֶֽׂה׃
tê·‘ā·śeh.
it shall be made .
8
וְהֵבֵאתָ֣
wə·hê·ḇê·ṯā
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הַמִּנְחָ֗ה
ham·min·ḥāh,
אֲשֶׁ֧ר
’ă·šer
יֵעָשֶׂ֛ה
yê·‘ā·śeh
is made
מֵאֵ֖לֶּה
mê·’êl·leh
､ לַיהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
to Yahweh ､
וְהִקְרִיבָהּ֙
wə·hiq·rî·ḇāh
and when it is presented
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן
hak·kō·hên,
the priest ､
וְהִגִּישָׁ֖הּ
wə·hig·gî·šāh
and he shall bring it
אֶל־
’el-
to
. הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
ham·miz·bê·aḥ.
the altar .

וְהֵרִ֨ים
wə·hê·rîm
הַכֹּהֵ֤ן
hak·kō·hên
the priest
מִן־
min-
הַמִּנְחָה֙
ham·min·ḥāh
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ אַזְכָּ֣רָתָ֔הּ
’az·kā·rā·ṯāh,
וְהִקְטִ֖יר
wə·hiq·ṭîr
and burn [it]
. הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה
ham·miz·bê·ḥāh;
on the altar .
אִשֵּׁ֛ה
’iš·šêh
[it is] an offering made by fire
רֵ֥יחַ
rê·aḥ
נִיחֹ֖חַ
nî·ḥō·aḥ
. לַיהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.
to Yahweh .

וְהַנּוֹתֶ֙רֶת֙
wə·han·nō·w·ṯe·reṯ
And what is left [shall be]
מִן־
min-
of
הַמִּנְחָ֔ה
ham·min·ḥāh,
לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן
lə·’a·hă·rōn
. וּלְבָנָ֑יו
ū·lə·ḇā·nāw;
and his sons' .
קֹ֥דֶשׁ
qō·ḏeš
-
קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים
qā·ḏā·šîm
[it is] most holy
מֵאִשֵּׁ֥י
mê·’iš·šê
of the offerings made by fire to
. יְהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.

הַמִּנְחָ֗ה
ham·min·ḥāh,
אֲשֶׁ֤ר
’ă·šer
תַּקְרִ֙יבוּ֙
taq·rî·ḇū
､ לַיהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
to Yahweh ､
לֹ֥א
lō
not
תֵעָשֶׂ֖ה
ṯê·‘ā·śeh
､ חָמֵ֑ץ
ḥā·mêṣ;
with leaven ､
כִּ֤י
kî
כָל־
ḵāl
､ שְׂאֹר֙
śə·’ōr
leaven ､
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
､ דְּבַ֔שׁ
də·ḇaš,
honey ､
לֹֽא־
lō-
no
תַקְטִ֧ירוּ
ṯaq·ṭî·rū
מִמֶּ֛נּוּ
mim·men·nū
אִשֶּׁ֖ה
’iš·šeh
. לַֽיהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.
to the LORD .

קָרְבַּ֥ן

As for the offering
､ רֵאשִׁ֛ית
rê·šîṯ
of the firstfruits ､
תַּקְרִ֥יבוּ
taq·rî·ḇū
אֹתָ֖ם
’ō·ṯām
､ לַיהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
to Yahweh ､
וְאֶל־
wə·’el-
but on
הַמִּזְבֵּ֥חַ
ham·miz·bê·aḥ
the altar
לֹא־
lō-
not
יַעֲל֖וּ
ya·‘ă·lū
לְרֵ֥יחַ
lə·rê·aḥ
. נִיחֹֽחַ׃
nî·ḥō·aḥ.
13
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
And every
קָרְבַּ֣ן
qā·rə·ban
מִנְחָתְךָ֮
min·ḥā·ṯə·ḵā
בַּמֶּ֣לַח
bam·me·laḥ
with salt
. תִּמְלָח֒
tim·lāḥ
וְלֹ֣א
wə·lō
And not
תַשְׁבִּ֗ית
ṯaš·bîṯ,
מֶ֚לַח
me·laḥ
the salt
בְּרִ֣ית
bə·rîṯ
of the covenant
אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ
’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,
מֵעַ֖ל
mê·‘al
– מִנְחָתֶ֑ךָ
min·ḥā·ṯe·ḵā;
עַ֥ל
‘al
with
כָּל־
kāl-
קָרְבָּנְךָ֖
qā·rə·bā·nə·ḵā
תַּקְרִ֥יב
taq·rîḇ
. מֶֽלַח׃

､ בָּאֵשׁ֙
bā·’êš
on the fire ､
גֶּ֣רֶשׂ
ge·reś
. כַּרְמֶ֔ל
kar·mel,
תַּקְרִ֕יב
taq·rîḇ
אֵ֖ת
’êṯ
-
מִנְחַ֥ת
min·ḥaṯ
. בִּכּוּרֶֽיךָ׃
bik·kū·re·ḵā.

וְנָתַתָּ֤
wə·nā·ṯa·tā
עָלֶ֙יהָ֙
‘ā·le·hā
on it
שֶׁ֔מֶן
še·men,
וְשַׂמְתָּ֥
wə·śam·tā
and lay
עָלֶ֖יהָ
‘ā·le·hā
on it
– לְבֹנָ֑ה
lə·ḇō·nāh;
מִנְחָ֖ה
min·ḥāh
. הִֽוא׃
hî
it .
16
וְהִקְטִ֨יר
wə·hiq·ṭîr
הַכֹּהֵ֜ן
hak·kō·hên
the priest
אֶת־

מִגִּרְשָׂהּ֙
mig·gir·śāh

､ לְבֹנָתָ֑הּ
lə·ḇō·nā·ṯāh;
the frankincense ､
