'Cross Over the Jordan' in the Bible

and all of you armed men cross over the Jordan before the Lord until He has driven His enemies out from before Him,

Moses said to them, "If the descendants of Gad and the descendants of Reuben, everyone who is armed for the war, cross over the Jordan {before} Yahweh, and the land is subdued before you, you will give them the land of Gilead as property.

because they're not just empty words for you they are your very life. Through these instructions you will live long in the land that you are about to cross over the Jordan River to possess."

“Moses My servant is dead. Now you and all the people prepare to cross over the Jordan to the land I am giving the Israelites.

Your servant would merely cross over the Jordan with the king. Why should the king compensate me with this reward?
