'Fear and Trembling' in the Bible

Fear and trembling have overwhelmed me, and horror has covered me.

His affection for you is even greater as he remembers how obedient all of you were and how you welcomed him with fear and trembling.

And so, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only when I was with you but even more now that I am absent, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
