'For My Sake' in the Bible

Whoever gains his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will gain it.

And anyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or land for my sake will receive many times as much, and share eternal life.

Jesus answered, "It was not for my sake that the voice came, but for yours.

For I am going to show him what he will have to endure for my sake."

You show endurance; you have undergone much for my sake, and you have not grown weary.
