'Great City' in the Bible

and Resen, between Niveveh and Calah, - the same is the great city.

then feared they greatly, because Gibeon was, a great city, as one of the royal cities, - and because, it, was greater than Ai, and, all the men thereof, were mighty:

Then shall many nations pass by this city, - and shall say, every man to his neighbour, For what cause, hath Yahweh done thus, unto this great city?
