'Land of the Living' in the Bible

No man can know its value,since it cannot be found in the land of the living.

I am certain that I will see the Lord’s goodnessin the land of the living.

This is why God will bring you down forever.He will take you, ripping you out of your tent;He will uproot you from the land of the living.Selah

I will walk before the Lordin the land of the living.

I cry to You, Lord;I say, “You are my shelter,my portion in the land of the living.”

I said: I will never see the Lord,the Lord in the land of the living;I will not look on humanity any longerwith the inhabitants of what is passing away.

He was taken away because of oppression and judgment;and who considered His fate?For He was cut off from the land of the living;He was struck because of my people’s rebellion.

for I was like a docile lamb led to slaughter.I didn’t know that they had devised plots against me:“Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit;let’s cut him off from the land of the livingso that his name will no longer be remembered.”

then I will bring you down to be with those who descend to the Pit, to the people of antiquity. I will make you dwell in the underworld like the ancient ruins, with those who descend to the Pit, so that you will no longer be inhabited or display your splendor in the land of the living.

For I will spread My terrorin the land of the living,so Pharaoh and all his hordeswill be laid to rest among the uncircumcised,with those slain by the sword.”This is the declaration of the Lord God.
