'Love Your Neighbor' in the Bible
"You have heard that they were told, 'You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
Honor your father and mother,' and 'You shall love your neighbor as you do yourself.' "
There is a second like it: 'You must love your neighbor as you do yourself.'
And this is the second: 'You must love your neighbor as you do yourself.' No other command is greater than these."
For the commandments, "You must not commit adultery, You must not murder, You must not steal, You must not covet," and any other commandments there are, are all summed up in one saying, "You must love your neighbor as you do yourself."
For the whole Law is summed up in one saying: "You must love your neighbor as you do yourself."
If you really obey the supreme law where the Scripture says, "You must love your neighbor as you do yourself," you are doing right,
