'Profane the Sabbath' in the Bible

Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?

Did not your fathers thus, and our God will bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? and ye are adding burning upon Israel to profane the Sabbath.

Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
