'Under Law' in the Bible
for as many as sinned without law shall also perish without law; and as many as sinned under law shall be judged by law;
For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under law, but under grace.
What, then? May we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? It could not be!
For, what was impossible under law, wherein it was weak through the flesh. God, sending His Own Son in likeness of sinful flesh, and, respecting sin, condemned sin in the flesh;
And, to the Jews, I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those under law, as under law (not being myself under law), that I might gain those under law;
to those without law, as without law (not being without law to God, but under law to Christ), that I might gain those without law.
But, before the faith came, we were kept guarded under law, being shut up to the faith about to be revealed.
But, when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under law,
that He might redeem those under law, that, we might receive the adoption of sons.
Tell me, ye who are wishing to be under law, do ye not hear the law?
But, if ye are being led by the Spirit, ye are not under law.
