Deuteronomy 11:26-32 - A Blessing And A Curse
26 See I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 Receive the blessing when you listen to the commandments of Jehovah your God, which I command you today. 28 Receive the curse when you do not listen to the commandments of Jehovah your God, but turn aside from the way that I command you today, by following other gods you have not known. 29 When Jehovah your God brings you into the land you are about to possess, you will offer blessings on Mount Gerizim and cursing on Mount Ebal. 30 Are they not across the Jordan toward the setting sun? Are they in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, beside the oaks (big trees) of Moreh? 31 You are about to cross the Jordan to go in to possess the land Jehovah your God is giving you. You must possess it and live in it, 32 Be careful to do all the statutes and judgments I present to you today.
