Acts 3:1-10 - A Lame Beggar Healed At The Temple
1 And Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth. 2 And a certain man, being lame from his mother's womb, was carried, whom they set in the day at the door of the temple called Beautiful, to ask alms from those going into the temple; 3 Who having seen Peter and John about going into the temple asked to receive alms. 4 And Peter, having looked intently upon him with John, said, Look upon us. 5 And he fixed his attention upon them, expecting to receive something of them. 6 And Peter said, Silver and gold are not to me; but what I have, this I give thee: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarite, arise and walk. 7 And having taken him by the right hand, he raised: and immediately his feet and ankles were rendered firm. 8 And springing forth he stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and springing, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 10 And they knew him, that this was he sitting for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that having happened to him.
