Matthew 9:35-38 - A Plentiful Harvest But Few Workers
35 Jesus kept visiting all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and curing every sort of sickness and ailment. 36 When He saw the crowds, His heart was moved with pity for them, because they were tired and scattered like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the reapers are scarce. 38 So pray the Lord of the harvest to send out reapers to His harvest field."
