John 4:46-54 - A Royal Official's Son Is Healed

⁴⁶ Jesus therefore came again to Cana of Galilee where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. ⁴⁷ This man having heard that Jesus comes out of Judea into Galilee, he went to him and besought him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was going to die.

⁴⁸ Jesus therefore said to him, Unless may ye see signs and wonders, ye will, no, not believe.

⁴⁹ The nobleman says to him, Sir, come down before my child dies.

⁵⁰ Jesus says to him, Go, thy son lives. And the man believed the word that Jesus said to him, and he departed.

⁵¹ And as he was now going down, his bondmen met him and reported, saying, Thy boy lives. ⁵² So he inquired of them the hour in which he fared well. And they said to him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. ⁵³ So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, Thy son lives. And he himself believed and his whole house.

⁵⁴ This again is a second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judea into Galilee.
