Revelation 9:13-21 - A Third Of Humanity Killed By Plagues

¹³ And the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a certain voice from the four horns of the golden altar, which is before God, ¹⁴ saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet, Let loose the four angels, that are bound by the great river Euphrates. ¹⁵ And the four angels were let loose; who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, to kill the third part of men. ¹⁶ And the number of their armies was two hundred millions: for I heard the number of them. ¹⁷ And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and those that sat on them, that is, having breast-plates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, and smoke, and brimstone. ¹⁸ And by these three things, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which came out of their mouths, the third part of men were killed. ¹⁹ For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails also; for their tails are like serpents, having heads: and with these likewise they do mischief.

²⁰ And the rest of the men, who were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk: ²¹ neither did they repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their whoredom, nor of their thefts.
