2 Samuel 20:23-26 - David's Officials

²³ Now Joab was over all the army of Israel, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and over the Pelethites, ²⁴ and Adoram was over the men subject to task work, and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was the recorder, ²⁵ and Sheva was scribe, and Zadok and Abiathar were priests, ²⁶ and also Ira the Jairite was chief minister to David.

¹⁵ And David reigned over all Israel. And David executed justice and righteousness to all his people. ¹⁶ And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army, and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder, ¹⁷ and Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were priests, and Seraiah was scribe, ¹⁸ and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada [was over] the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and David's sons were chief ministers.
