2 Chronicles 21:16-20 - Jehoram's Last Days

¹⁶ And the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines and the Arabians that border on the black Moors. ¹⁷ Which came against Judah and all to tare the land, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and thereto his sons and his wives: so that there was never a son left him save Jehoahaz his youngest son.

¹⁸ And after all that, the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease. ¹⁹ And in process of time, even about the end of two years, his guts fell out by reason of his sickness: and so he died of evil diseases. But they made him no bonfire, like the bonfires of his fathers.

²⁰ When he began to reign, he was twenty seven years old, and reigned in Jerusalem eight years. And he walked not pleasantly and they buried him in the city of David: but not in the sepulchre of the kings.
