Matthew 20:17-19 - Jesus Predicts His Death And Resurrection A Third Time

Matthew 20:17-19

17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said to them, 18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man will be betrayed to the chief priests, and to the scribes, and they will condemn him to death, 19 And will deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he will rise again.

Mark 10:32-34

32 And they were in the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen to him,

33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man will be delivered to the chief priests, and to the scribes; and they will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles; 34 And they will mock him, and will scourge him, and will spit upon him, and will kill him: and the third day he will rise again.

Luke 18:31-34

31 Then he took the twelve, and said to them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. 32 For he will be delivered to the Gentiles, and will be mocked, and spitefully treated, and spitted on; 33 And they will scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he will rise again.

34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
